Description
Castello di Poppiano Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced from all the olive groves of the estate, with olives harvested between November and December. It is a typical high-quality olive oil from the hills surrounding Florence.
The olive varieties are Frantoio 80%, Moraiolo 15%, Leccino and Pendolino 5%.
The olives are hand-picked in crates between November and December.
The olives are immediately processed after harvesting (within 24 hours), the crushing times are short, and the kneading is strictly cold.
