Description
Syrah, a grape with a long tradition in Tuscany, finds an ideal habitat in the alberese hills of Castello di Poppiano.
100% Syrah
Vinification: Fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats at 27-28°C and maceration of 15-18 days.
Maturation and Aging: Maturation in vats, then for 12 months in French oak barrels (Allier). Aging in bottle for at least 3 months.
Alcohol content: 13 – 13.5 % Vol.
Tasting Notes: Bright, intense purple color. Spice aromas open to fruity notes with complex “boisé” notes. Round and balanced wine with a solid but not aggressive body, soft and voluptuous structure with a fruity and intriguing finish.
